Battles happen on the streets, not on a separate screen. You move, dodge and aim while your partner fights.
Mobile
Plays on your phone
Use the virtual joystick, tap your moves, and roll to dodge.
Alpha
Sneak up. Throw.
Throw Poké Balls in real time. A back strike on an unaware Pokémon gives the best catch rate. Big red-eyed Alphas hit hard.
Mega Evolution
Fill the meter. Press M.
Each starter has a Z-A Mega form: Grass/Fairy Meganium, Fire/Fighting Emboar or Water/Dragon Feraligatr.
Your partner
Pick one of three
Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile starts with you at Hotel Z. From there you have 47 species to catch, level up and evolve, with a party of six and a PC Box for the rest.

One account, every kid
A grown-up signs up once and adds up to 6 trainers. Progress saves online, so kids pick up where they left off on any phone, tablet or computer.
